Hello,
If you pass GATE, you can get admission in good IITs to pursue your M.Tech course. Your GATE scorecard is also valid for getting good jobs with good packages.

Hello,
Your JEE marks are too low and your 12th percentile is also less than 75%. So, you are not eligible for Mains counselling and you won't get any good government or private college.
But you can get any private college.

You can get any branch in engineering depending upon the college. You cannot get admission in any government or semi-government university based upon your 42793 rank. But yes, you can gok for private universities.

Minimum eligibility criteria for all courses.
The candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech programs need to complete their 10+2 from a recognized board, with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology being their main subjects.
