The cut off to JEE main course of Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (LTCE) changes according to branch. In the Computer Engineering domain and the specialized, AI/ML, Data Science, IoT, closing ranks fell under the *1.8 Lacs to 3.5 Lacs bracket* in the category General All India in 2024. The ranks of closing of the core branches such as Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, and Mechanical were higher, and this shows a comparatively low cutoff. Yes, you can gain admission to ECE - Elitte College of Engineering for B.E./B.Tech courses without a WBJEE score through the JEE Main exam. Elitte College of Engineering accepts both WBJEE and JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. Additionally, some private colleges, including Elitte, may offer direct admission under a Management Quota, provided you meet the minimum Class 12th eligibility criteria (typically 45% in PCM). It's advisable to contact the college directly for details on their management quota process.

Hybridization predicts the geometry and bond angles in complex molecules and it helps in the understanding of how four equivalent bonds in methane (CH? ) can be formed from atoms like carbon. For observed molecular geometries, it explains the formation of the equivalent orbitals (like sp³, sp², sp).

In molecular shape prediction, VSEPR (Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion) theory is important because based on the repulsions between the electron pairs around the central atom, it helps in predicting the three-dimensional shape of molecules. The 3D shape influences the molecule's chemical and physical properties including reactivity, polarity, and intermolecular forces.
