Depends on which branch you are opting for. For Marine Engineering and other such related courses, I would suggest SOE, but for Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Production, Electrical and other circuit branches, TKM is the best. TKM is much better than SOE in terms of academics, placements and most importantly the college life!

Exams held at CUSAT are not generic in nature as in other universities. You are supposed to have your syllabus thoroughly studied by some standard textbooks. After 2015 admission scheme, the grading system has changed, and now it's a little bit easier to score marks compared to the past.

Hello Rajshekhar, Seats under any quota are allotted based on the ranking of students in the concerned entrance exam by students from that quota only, so your NCC category rank will be taken into account for allotting a seat to you.
