No, actually with this score its bit difficult for you to get admission in top colleges. So its better to try with your State entrance. Also some colleges won't accept 45% marks. They keep criteria as 50% and above.

HITK is one of the autonomous private colleges in West Bengal. For admission in top branches like CSE, IT and ECE, you need to have a rank within the 7000 to 8000 range. For branches like mechanical and civil, you need to have a rank within 12000. Furthermore, sometimes it depends on the seat availability of college and counselling process. You can wait patiently and go through the counselling process.

HIT-K is an autonomous private college in West Bengal. It takes admission through WBJEE. For the top branches like CSE, IT and ECE rank needed is within 7000 to 8000 in WBJEE. For mechanical branch ranks needed is within 10000. There would be better chances of your admission in the mechanical branch at HIT-K if you have rank is within the specified range. Moreover sometimes it may go down to 12000 depending upon seat availability of college and counselling process. All the best and wait for counselling to start.

If you have mentioned your All India Rank i.e. 2708 then you are getting the NITs also.
Since allotting of the college will depend on your All India Rank. Also, you can check it on a given link that which college will be allotting to you on basis of your rank.

Hi Suraj,
No, you can not apply for JEE Mains exam. For JEE Mains 2018, you should have passed class 12th/equivalent not earlier than 2016. For the case of late results- If a candidate appeared in class 12th/equivalent exam in 2015 but got his result cleared in 2016, they are not eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2018. They only allowed for three consecutive years after 12th for JEE Mains and 2 for JEE Advanced.

Hi,
Actually, the time is over for corrections in JEE. There is only one time opportunity given to the candidates correct their details, so they must make sure that their changes are correct. If the correction due dates are over then there is no way to change the details. They provide only one chance to change the details.

For getting into any prestigious institutions, you should be highly dedicated and hardworking. A little bit of luck is also needed to some extent. Though it is not mandatory, atleast two years of dedicated study is needed to get a good rank in the JEE main (needed for admission into NITs). This is because the number of students appearing for the exams is increasing every year and so does the competition. It is not enough to be just good but you need to be the very best.
Also, it is highly recommended to attend a good coaching institute to boost your chances of securing a high rank in the exams. Because of the new exam pattern, you shou
