Exam date April 28 and 29, 2018.

You can get private colleges but chance of government colleges are quite less. So, if you have registered for any other state level or private college entrance exams, try to do well in them.

Dear Sana!
To be straight;For NITs and State Level engineering college, you need to score in JEE Mains Exam. However, for IITs and other national level engineering colleges you need to score in JEE Advance. Your Selection is also depends upon your category. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Since the exam has been yesterday only, that's why I can't tell you the cut-off since the result has not been come yet. As soon as the result will be announced of JEE Mains exam, then cut-off will be announced too. Many factors affect the cut-off like number of candidate appears, the highest score in exam etc. The result date is around 30 April 2018.

There are decent chances for you to get a GFTI institute (Government Funded Technical Institutes) along with Some NITs as 150 score is considered as sure seat in NIT. But if you are scorjng well you will got a lead in GFTIs. Don't Worry. All the best for future.

Yes, you can apply for the Jadavpur University and wait for the counselling. You will definetly got a seat in it. The counselling starts from July 1st week.
