You have selected a very good option to prepare for JEE from my point of view. You have to follow few steps:
1. Gather proper material for your preparation: Go online and order 'JEE Mains material' from career Point Institute, then do order for JEE (Advanced) material from Allen Coaching. Buy the material only for current courses.
2. Now, how to study those courses? If you are in high school then study whole one chapter from your textbook then go through the objective questions of JEE Mains after solving JEE Mains questions, go for advance questions from JEE Advanced (Allen). Mark the important questions that will help you at last for revision. At last, you just go through the marked questions. Solve the whole material at least 2 times or more than that. Don't refer anything apart from the material I told you. Study at least 6 hours and on every Sunday solve one question paper in 3 hours (time foundation is compulsory) after exam go through the solutions and learn from your mistakes. Make notes of your problem keep this, it will also help you at last for revision. Observe the periodic table horizontally and vertically, learn square root till 30 and cube root till 20. Admission in PG courses at SPA is granted to candidates who have completed their bachelors degree from relevant fields of study with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC / ST / OBC candidates) in the qualifying degree examination.
Candidates will be evaluated in the following five areas as part of the admission procedure:
Performance in the qualifying examination,
Portfolio of work,
Personal Interaction with the program faculty and / or written test.
Interest and motivation for the chosen study and
Work Experience.
A cumulative score obtained from the above five areas will be used to draw up a merit list, based on which candidates will be granted admission into the PG courses.
You can opt for either the GATE exams or the CEED exams to gain entry to M.Arch in School of Planning and Architecture. Regards.

Firstly, your thinking and confidence is very nice for cracking entrance examinations because a very few students have confidence that they will be able to crack JEE Mains and Advanced with the home level study, but self-study is more and more profitable as compared to coaching level study. But you should be away from distractions like television and others at home. Your focus and hard work should be only directed towards JEE then you will surely get success. Top rankers in any exam do their study at their home level but you take guidance from old papers and any JEE qualifiers. JEE Mains syllabus is from NCERT and for JEE Advanced you can take material from any past JEE qualifiers. For JEE Mains, you should only prepare from NCERT syllabus with a good manner. Solve more and more past year JEE questions and guide questions and chemistry have maximum questions from NCERT book as it is. So I advise you to cover NCERT syllabus first.
