JEE Mains is one of the toughest exam of India. It is not easy to crack in one week. It is depends on your study of class 11th and class 12th. If you are good in PCM, then there is no problem to crack the JEE Mains.

Hello Kapil, It is a very good query that you have raised. What to do after class 12th? The trend of parents is MBBS or engineering. Former is very tough and for the later, situation is grim with almost 50% fresh graduates not finding placements. I would rather advise you to have a look at different alternative career opportunities. Law, mass communication, fine arts, literature, commerce, hotel management, pilot, etc. But fundamentally, you must select the path which you like most, which fascinates you. Let me assure you that hard work in any stream will take you places.

If your exam centers is close enough to travel in between gap of these two, then you could manage both the exams simultaneously. If it is not possible, there may be the reason of same timing or distance. You should go for your board examinations. It is more important for you more than anything.

So, a rank under 10k to15k can fetch you a top NITs. Accordingly your score in JEE Mains Paper 1 should be more than 180+ (200+ to be on the safer side) at least. For lower ranked NITs 150+ is a must.
