NCERT textbooks provide the complete reference for most of the entrance tests, especially, CUSAT. The papers are quite easy and are usually basic concepts. Thoroughly go through it and you will pass CAT with flying colours.

Hello Vrushu,
The trend perhaps is not to reveal anything about the cut-offs! College website has no details. But it is gathered that for Aeronautical engineering branch, cut off was around 60K. But then there are different categories of admission and cut off is different for each.

To get into CS-IT, EnTC 188+ score is required, for mechanical, electrical it's 176+ etc.

Ensure that you are self-motivated throughout the preparation process. Make a proper timetable and stick to it. Ideally, pick up the at least 3 subjects of your choice in which you are already comfortable solve the numerical questions in those subjects thoroughly this is very much required to build the confidence.
Next move to 3 more subjects in which you are moderately okay, read twice or thrice the basic concepts then solve numericals. Lastly based on time, you can decide to complete the rest of the subjects or not.
