There are two exams.
1st is JEE Mains and another is JEE Advanced.
After qualifying Mains, you are eligible for JEE Advanced and if you qualify Advanced, you can get admission in IIT on the basis of your rank.

Eligibity criteria for appearing on GATE is that candidate must have completed Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) and those who are in the final year of such programs. Even if you had backs, you are eligible to appear for GATE.

You can't compare which examination is more preferred to get into VJTI, rather you should focus on the examination that you need to opt for to get into VJTI.

Hi,
There are no special famous coaching institutions solely dedicated to VITEEE. The coaching centers that provide coaching for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced also provide coaching for VITEEE.
None of the famous coaching classes provide separate coaching for VITEEE, as it requires other subjects like English, aptitude.
But I will mention again that JEE coaching centers are applicable for VITEEE as well.
