Hey!
Below are the preparation tips which will help you while the JEE Mains Preparation:
Start your IIT JEE preparation with Class XII textbooks that you have. You can also refer to NCERT books that are prepared by many subject experts and are quite economical too.
Beware of using too many reference books. There are so many books that you can use for reference. Use the ones that cover maximum syllabus and suit your learning style.
It can help to score more by indexing topics in order of priority or weight age they carry in the JEE Main and class 12th board exams.

Devoting one full year for competitive exam preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for competitive exams. There are bulk of coaching institutes for IIT JEE in Uttar Pradesh. But, few coaching institutes are good. If you are planning for JEE preparation, then I will recommend you to visit Kota once. Hello Manoj,
JEE Mains needs to be cleared with good marks to get admission in any of the NIT's in any branch including Aeronautical. If you want to get admission in any IIT then you have to score above cutoff of JEE Mains and then score good marks in JEE Advanced.
For admission into your state, you need to clear entrance exam of the state.

Eligibilty criteria to appear in JEE is that candidates must have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifyingv examination are eligible to appear in JEE(Main)- 2017. Eligibilty criteria does prohibits students from open schools to appear in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

They mostly rely on GRE, based on GRE score, it's good to join MS industrial engineering. They prefer GRE and their test for MS in Germany.

Firstly, clear all your concepts from the subjects in B.Tech EEE and stay focused. Go for Made easy (GATE coaching institute) take the test series or classes on weekend or online lectures that would be suitable for you. The questions in GATE are based on the logic which can be cracked by through in-depth study.

Eligibility criteria to appear in GATE is Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering/ Technology) and those who are in the final year of such programs. During your B.Tech Manufacturing Engineering you will be covered majority of topic included in Syllabus of Production and Industrial Engineering. You are advised to compare your college syllabus of Manufacturing Engineering with GATE Production and Industrial Engineering syllabus and do self preparations in gap areas if there are any gaps.

Yes, you can attempt for GATE now and join the course in the next academic year.
Or
You can attempt GATE after your current B. Tech course completion means next academic year.
You can attempt GATE maximum Three times.
The GATE score valid for three years from your appearing year.
