Admission in IIST is only possible when you have cleared both the Mains and Advanced exam.
However, only IIST rank list which is available on the IIST website will be considered for counselling.

Questions in all the entrance exams are nearly same. There is only difference in some of the questions, so if you prepare well for one exam you could clear all the other exams.

Hello Yash,
If you have enrolled in a coaching centre and already preparing for entrance exams then it is enough to crack BITSAT. For self-preparation after class 12th, you need to have at least 1-1.5 months time which will be available as the BITSAT test comes at last only.
You need to keep an eye on the complete syllabus and practice as many problems as you can with the time limit as BITSAT requires speed and accuracy.
You need to score at least 300 to get a chance of getting a seat at BITS-Pilani and its other campuses.
