1000 for general and OBC boy students and 500 for all category girl students and 600 for SC, ST, and PWD Students for only paper 1 or paper 2. If you want to give both papers, then you have to pay Rs. 1800.

Firstly, you need to check yourself whether your 50 percent marks in class 12th are good enough to pursue engineering. Isn't your foundation is below than average?
Engineering is not the only option for success in life.

You don't have any chance if you belong to general or OBC category. For getting CSE in Thapar University, you should score more than 200 marks in JEE Mains

As the cut-off marks vary every year, it will be difficult to tell. I would suggest you to contact the college authority directly for the exact information.

Hello Jaswinder,
You have managed to score very well in your boards and JEE Mains. So, you should go for B.Tech only. However, considering your score, you will easily get colleges like LNMIIT, NMIT, Thapar Univ. and JIIT-Noida. You may also get lower NITs in the last phase of counselling. For checking this you can go on different websites like JOSA for all the NIITS and state Counselling website, which show the last year rank and cut off for particular branch. This will help you to decide which college is best for you.
