It depends upon the rank of JEE Mains. 12th mark is just for your eligibility for JEE Mains. Depending upon the rank do check the JOSAA's previous year opening and closing rank to get an idea of which college and which branch you can apply for. About better courses, CSE and IT are presently the best in terms of placements.

We cannot say anything about the cut off now as per the last year the cut off for gen candidate was 75 (approx.). For SC, ST candidates it was about 38 and so on, this year everyone is saying about increase in cut off but it can decrease.

Hi,
It depends upon the rank you got. In accordance with that rank kindly have a look through JoSAA's 2016 opening and closing rank of various colleges to get a rough idea about which govt. colleges you can get. JoSAA is the body that looks over the seat allocation through JEE Mains.

I think computer engineering course in Nirma closes maximum at 20,000 - 25,000 rank. Still, you can apply. I would also suggest you apply in 15% NRI category (If you're willing to pay double of the regular fee). Still, let's hope for the best!

You can easily find the list of the best engineering college in all states on Google. It will be a bit difficult to clinch a seat with good branch and college but you can wait until last counseling. Some state also offers quota on the basis of sports and NCC, etc. So you can make a research and plan college accordingly.

It should be less than 35000 for state quota.

You didn't fail. It was just a matter of few questions and speed which made others to score more than you and you can achieve the same by practice and hard work. And if you are talking about SGSITS then it depends on your rank, category, branch you wanna opt, etc. I will personally suggest that avoid taking admission in BM. Rest depends on your interest. For general category male, normally, the closing rank is around 40,000, still if you want admission then you can try your luck in the college level counselling.

Hi,
It will be hard though to get B.Arch as you have not crossed the 75% benchmark for the JEE Mains exam. You can try other fields if you want.

Not possible.
You can't get good colleges.
Try for private colleges.
