Yes, sure if you have not cleared JEE Mains, it's better to drop 1-year or you can join a good private college like LPU, VIT, SRM, BITS, etc. If you have given the entrance exam for the respective college.
All the best.

Yes, there are chances of increasing the cutt-offs this year. Around 200 marks should be required in JEE Advanced for getting in CSE in IITs.

As you can see the ads in the newspapers, the top scorers are from the coaching centres at Kota. Allen, Resonance, etc., so you choose any one of your choice.
Above all, you also need to work hard. They can only guide you in a proper manner and practice. Your contribution is very important.
All the best.

Obviously, GATE exam is tougher than JEE Mains exam. JEE Mains involves the concepts and problems at the basic level (11th &12th NCERT syllabus), but JEE Advanced will be tougher.
In case of GATE exam, the questions will be based on the concepts from engineering level (from your B.Tech syllabus). So it will be very difficult when compared to JEE Mains.
JEE Advanced will be tough for a candidate who aspires to become an engineer.
All the best.

Hello Ankur,
All the government college take their own exam for getting admission in their college they do not accept JEE main rank so if you are appeared in state level engineering entrance exam then you are getting if not then must try in private college on JEE marks.
