Hi Vibhor, you have good chances to get a campus in Chennai.
You can also get ECE branch but I'm not sure whether you can get ECE at SRM main campus because your rank is not enough to get the main campus.
Use the rank predictors to know the list of other courses. The counseling dates are not announced so wait for the counseling and proceed.

Eligibilty criteria to appear in GATE Aeronautical Engineering is Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2/Post B.Sc./Post-Diploma). Therefore, you are eligible to seek Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering subjects in GATE after B.Tech Mechatronics.
