You need to score around 220-230 in IIT-Mains to get admission in VNIT - Nagpur. A good score in IIT-Mains is good enough to get a seat in any NIT, even if you fail to qualify in IIT - Advanced.

You need to keep your basics clear and practice more and more questions. You can take mock test and refer to NCERT for basic concepts and reference books for various questions.

In mathematics, a percentage is a number or ratio expressed as a fraction of 100. In JEE, it is number scored by you on the scale of 100.
A percentile is a measure used in statistics indicating the value below, which a given percentage of observations in a group of observations fall. For example, the 90th percentile in JEE Mains means that by the virtue of marks scored in JEE you are in top 10% of the students, who appeared for examination and also 90% students are below marks scored by you.

Hello Sandeep,
It's nice to see you asking many questions. It is good according to me. LEET is designed for Diploma holders whereas JEE Mains is designed for 12th pass students. As a consequence, JEE Mains is tough for diploma holders. From another perspective you lose one year if you get degree via JEE Mains as against degree via LEET. This causes many students to turn towards LEET resulting in tough competition. But, I would vote for degree via LEET if you are pursuing diploma and via JEE Mains if you have not taken admission in polytechnic.
