Nothing is impossible in this world. 45 days is long enough time. Perseverance, hard work and dedicated study can take you places. My advice would be to make a time table for studies. Every subject every day. Take mock tests. Get results evaluated by your teachers. Work on weak areas. If possible join coaching institute near your home. These classes teach tricks if answering questions quickly and hence are useful.

It's nice to see your interest in obtaining degree in engineering from good college. Even diploma holders are eligible for JEE Mains provided you have scored 75 percent or more if you are desirous of admission in IIT. Clearing JEE Mains will enable you to get admissions in many good colleges and clearing JEE Advanced will enable you to get admission in IIT. So get set for exam.

You can take exam. But can you elucidate as to why you have doubt? If you have appeared last year and could not get admission then it means you are aware of your weaknesses. This year, I hope, while preparing for this exam you have reviewed weak areas and studied them.

It's nice to see that you are giving one to yourself for preparing for IIT. Have faith in yourself. Be prepared to work hard are the key requisites. Fundamentally two exams that you will have to clear bank heavily on logical thinking and clarity if concepts. My advise would be for you to make time table straight away assigning time for all subjects everyday and take mock test regularly. I also would advise you to join some good coaching class near your home since they normally teach you tricks of short cuts in answering that enables you to save your time.

Begin by making a calendar and timetable for studies and mock tests. You must study every subject every day and take the mock test every week. You have only 20 days left. So better revise the chapters which have more weightage of marks. Mechanics is the most important part. So try to complete this part. Most questions are asked from that part only and practice numerical problems also and there is no need to revise the derivation which is a big relief.

SRM is the best option.
