If you are not confident enough about qualifying JEE Mains, then drop a year. Study hard, solve mock test papers and strengthen your weaknesses.

Hello Chintan,
Unfortunately, its not possible to predict, even giving approx value is not possible:
1) Depends upon The way normalisation goes.
2) It varies for different NIT's.
3) Depends upon 'home state' or 'other state'.
4) The official cutoff for participating in counselling is pretty low, and that never assures your chances, All depends on "counselling" process.
