Hello Neha. Every year there is a cutoff in JEE Mains that needs to be crossed to appear in JEE Advanced which is a test for admission in IITs. This year this cutoff is expected to be around 100-115 marks in JEE Mains.

Dear Ashi. Akash is a good institute. Although the best one for IITJEE is Vidyamandir classes, but let me tell you something. Coaching institutes have just 10% role to play in your preparation. 89% of success depends on you. I have seen students in VMC doing poorly and those without any coaching doing great. Since you have already taken admission, do not think about this choice anymore. It won't matter where you take coaching as long as you give your best to the preparation. The remaining 1% is luck. So good luck to you!

Hello Aravind. A good strategy to tackle JEE mains would include getting enrolled in a coaching, solving previous year papers, understanding concepts and practising a lot. There is no important topic as such. Anything and everything from your 11th and 12th NCERT of physics chemistry and maths is important. The coaching you enroll in should cover all the syllabus.
All the best!

Hello Gaurav. I take that you have appeared in 12th boards this year with PCM. Now in case you have not taken any coaching for JEE Advanced, I recommend you to enroll into one. Next thing to do is understand each and every concept to the depth and practicing as much as you can. Solve previous year papers in a time bound manner. Understand each question you got wrong. Try to score maximum in each mock test you take. Perseverance along with brilliance will take you very far.
All the best!

Hi Sasi,
The cut-offs and scores vary year after year and hence I request you to attempt the paper to the best of your capability. The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. Stay focused and work hard towards goal attainment. You will certainly reap results, remember hard work always pays off. Don't underestimate your potential, you are worth a thousand sparrows. Don't let your fear demotivate you or derail you from your future aspirations.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

Hello Prajwal. First of all I do not recommend droping a year to anyone. So if you have options other than JEE, like bits and Manipal, please grab on to them.
In case you are extremely determined for IITs and taking JEE advanced next year, I would recommend you to be extremely focussed on your goal. Do not waste a second. The type and place of coaching has just 10% role to play. The other 89% is your hardwork, perseverance, understanding of concepts and practice. 1% that remains is luck. So good luck for you future!
