CUSAT Kochi offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at CUSAT Kochi, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed of the state of Kerala or any other examination accepted as equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with at least 50% marks separately and 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SEBC candidates of Kerala).

For general students 60 marks is not good enough for admission in top NITs or IIITs. 60 marks will be around 80 percentile and will give rank between 1.5 and 2.5 lakhs.

KGEC WBJEE cutoff 2025 for the BTech CSE branch was released for multiple HS quota categories. The overall KGEC BTech cutoff 2025 for all Home State quota categories ranged from 1915 to 24020

Admission to the CSE branch was the toughest for the General category students, and the easiest for the ST category candidates, since the General category had the strictest cutoff range and the ST, the most lenient.

KGEC WBJEE cutoff 2025 for the OBC HS category ranged from 4156 to 9075 in the first round. In the last round, the cutoff varied between 5714 and 11190. According to the last round, the most difficult BTech specialisation was BTech CSE, with a cutoff of 5714. In contrast, the easiest last round BTech branch was Mechanical Engineering, with the cutoff being 11190. This was also true for the first round.

If you belong to the OBC, SC, ST, EWS or PWD HS category, then yes, you can get a seat at KGEC with a rank of 600 in the WBJEE entrance examination. 

For the OBC HS category, the overall cutoff ranged from 4156 to 11190, according to the first and last rounds for various BTech course specialisations. Students can refer to the table below to know the KGEC BTech cutoff 2025 range for various HS quota categories.

KGEC WBJEE cutoff 2025 was concluded with the results being published for all rounds and categories under the Home State quota. For the General category candidates belonging to the Home State quota, the overall cutoff ranged from 1915 to 3643.
