No, candidates can take admission in M.Tech programme of SOT PDEU without GATE score also. The university accepts admission for non-GATE qualified candidates in Phase-II. However, the application process is common. Candidates who have not qualified GATE are shortlisted based on their performance in the personal interview round. The merit list for such aspirants are prepared based on PI performance. Candidate who has applied for more than one branch has to appear in personal interview for all the respective branches separately

No, the college would not take the JEE criteria to allocate a seat in thier college. The minimum qualification required is 50% in 12th standard Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology with Mathematics as compulsory subject from a recognised board and good communication skills.

Yes. Candidates will be able to apply for PTU BArch counselling process with JEE Main scores. However, only Paper 2 scores will be considered. Candidates will not be eligible for PTU BArch counselling process with JEE Main Paper 1 (BTech) scores. Along with JEE Main Paper 2 scores, the authorities will also accept candidates who have a valid NATA score.

SAGE University will soon release the application form for SEE 2026 in January. Candidates can fill the application form online from the university website. It is mandatory for candidates to take the SEE exam. However, for the BTech programme, candidates with JEE Main score are exempted from the exam. SEE application form includes multiple step as follows:

  • Click on SEE 2026 Application form link

Admission to B.Tech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nagercoil is based on the rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2024 or JEE Mains Percentile 2024.
Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks.

Yes it is possible.

At the UG level, the institute offers B.Tech courses under nine specializations. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in JEE Mains/ HSTES and 50% through direct admission.

Although it is the admission requirment, as engineering is a highly demanded field and thousands of candidates apply for it each year it can be difficult to get addmission .

The admission process for M.Tech at Jaypee University of Information Technology for non GATE candidate is mentioned below:

  • JIIT Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) shall be conducted for the eligible candidates

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Vadodara JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 34862 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 37074 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
