Before downloading the BITSAT hall ticket, the candidates are advised to check the details carefully. In case of any mistakes in the hall ticket, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately. However, the candidates may not accept requests for the correction of all details. In case the hall ticket cannot be corrected and replaced before the examination date, the candidates are advised to obtain and present a note from the authorities. This will ensure that the candidates will not face any problems in entering the exam centre.

As part of the admission procedure, the prospective candidates must also take a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). However, BTech qualified in IITs with an overall CGPA of 8.00 or above in 10 point scale are exempted with regard to the GATE and are directly eligible to the process. It is also worth mentioning that the minimum eligibility requirements are as well mandatory to the candidates who would like to join IIT BHU MTech programme in 2025.

Yes, qualifying JET is not necessary for all the programmes provided by the university. For courses like PhD, JET is not necessary but for courses like JET BTech, and others, JET is important. To qualify the JET exam, candidates must study according to the JET Exam pattern, fill out the JET application form timely, and study the JET 2026 syllabus wisely. Without JET admission will not be possible in the flagship courses provided by the university.
