Yes. The authorities will soon release the official WBJEE 2026 syllabus online at the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates will be able to check the detailed syllabus through the WBJEE 2026 information brochure. The details regarding which subjects, units and topics have to be studied for the examination will be available through the WBJEE syllabus. No other mode will be used to release the syllabus of WBJEE. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus carefully before commencing their preparation for WBJEE.

There are two sets of question papers in WBJEE exam. Paper-1 includes questions from Mathematics. Paper-2 includes questions from physics and chemistry. Candidates who appear for both papers are eligible for admission in engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy courses. Those who appeared in paper-2 will be eligible for pharmacy courses only.

According to WBJEE pattern, there will be negative marking for wrong answering according to categories. In category-1 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answer and 0.5 will be deducted for category-2.

No. As of yet, the authorities have not announced any information regarding the revision of WBJEE 2026 syllabus. It is likely that the subjects and topics to be studied for the examination will remain the same as the previous year's WBJEE syllabus. The official WBJEE 2026 syllabus will be released online at wbjeeb.nic.in. To perform well in the examination, the candidates are advised to check and follow the official WBJEE syllabus.

No. The candidates will not be required to prepare aptitude and logical reasoning questions for WBJEE 2026. The topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are included in the WBJEE 2026 syllabus. No aptitude and logical reasoning questions will be present in the question paper. Therefore, the candidates will not be required to study the aptitude and logical reasoning questions. Candidates are advised to focus on the official WBJEE syllabus while preparing for the examination.
