Considering the difficulty level of this year's MHTCET and your category as well, I can assure you'll get SPIT for CSE in the first list. As last year, a guy with 82 got a seat. You also have chances of getting in VJTI (IT) & COEP (IT). So if you want a college in Mumbai, your option form Should start like VJTI CSE
VJTI IT
SPIT CSE
SPIT IT
DJ Sanghvi CSE
DJ Sanghvi IT.
If you want to even include out of Mumbai colleges your option form should be:
VJTI CSE
VJTI IT
COEP CSE
COEP IT
SPIT CSE
SPIT IT
DJ Sanghvi CSE
DJ Sanghvi IT.
Followed by other colleges, I am sure you'll get admission in above these colleges within the first list.
All the best.

In Maharashtra, admissions are based on MHCET and hence your JEE Mains score will not be of much use. However, deemed to be universities located in Maharashtra accept this score. You will have to approach them individually. If not on merit, you can get admission perhaps in management quota.

No, there is no difference between engineering from Gujarat and Maharashtra. Only the language barrier is there. While pursuing a degree in Maharashtra, teachers explain in Marathi and in Gujarat, teachers explain in the Gujarati language.
