No, there is no difference between engineering from Gujarat and Maharashtra. Only the language barrier is there. While pursuing a degree in Maharashtra, teachers explain in Marathi and in Gujarat, teachers explain in the Gujarati language.

Admissions to the first year of engineering and pharmacy colleges will be based on the State Common Entrance Test MHCET and not the joint entrance exam JEE, the directorate of technical education (DTE) Maharashtra said that the entrance examination of MHTCET 2018 will be conducted for admissions into around 200 engineering institutes. MHTCET 2018 participating institutes will be located in six regions of Maharashtra: Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik and Pune. Hello Saim,
In Maharashtra, what matters is the score in MHT CET. But your score is a bit on the lower side. But there will be enough colleges which will have vacant seats. You can attempt in those colleges.
