This depends from university to university and also if your distance B.Tech is recognised by UGC or not. Please email universities in USA admits enquiring.They will get back to you. You can also share a soft copy of your degree with them.

Don't decide on the basis of the best branch and go for the branch that you like. Any branch from MIT will give you good placement. Just work hard and smart.

Scholarships for MS in US universities is a challenging task. There are many conditions to fulfil. There are many nuances to this and if you miss out on any one it becomes most difficult to recover. In India there is M.Tech and likewise in US there is MS. So you need not to worry about the placement and internship provided you have to do your MS from a reputed college.
