  • The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE (Advanced) will equal marks in Physics part of Paper 1 plus marks in Physics part of Paper 2.
  • Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in same way.
  • The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) is sum of marks awarded to him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The aggregate marks will be calculated for both papers - paper 1 and paper 2.
  • The total marks in JEE Advanced will be total marks in paper 1 and paper 2 combined.

In order to fill out the JEE Advanced application form, you will require the JEE Main application number and password to log in. If you have forgotten your JEE Main password, you can reset it on the official JEE Advanced website by following these steps:

  1. Click on the "forgot password" option in the JEE Advanced candidate portal.
  2. Choose one of the options provided.
  3. Fill in the required details based on the chosen option.
  4. The new password will then be sent to the candidate.

NO. As per the decision dated February 03, 2023 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, persons who have secured the OCI/PIO card subsequent to 04 March 2021 will NOT be considered as Indian national and will be considered as foreign national.

NIST BTech admission is a multi-step process. Aspirants must begin with applying for the JEE (Main) as it is the accepted entrance exam for BTech admission. At the time of admission to the BTech programme of NIST Berhampur, selected candidates have to pay an admission seat confirmation fee and a refundable caution deposit. The admission seat confirmation fee at NIST is INR 15,000.
