The vesit admissions process is carried out according to state government regulations, the University of Mumbai, and the DTE (directorate of technology education) in Maharashtra. To enroll in a Vesit College Mtech course, you must have a GATE score or a MHT Cet Mtech score. cutoff for both scores is primarily determined by the student's caste and category, with the preferred course having a minor influence. As a result, in order to enroll in the college, you must have a GATE or mht CET score. You cannot just join Vesit for Mtech.

The fees for the M.Tech at VESIT is approximately RS 75000 for the total course and there are 3 specialisation options available in M.Tech which are Instrumentation and Control, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the total seats available are 18 in each field. The average salary offered in M.Tech is 5 LPA and the maximumu salary offered was 7.5 LPA.

VIIT was granted six years of "A" grade accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an independent body that was founded by the UGC. The accreditation was valid from September 2016 through September 2022. Out of 160 institutions, Outlook iCare ranked VIIT, Pune the 52nd best institute in India. You are first advised to check for the eligibility for M.Tech at RGIT i.e. 50% or greater marks in aggreagte in BE/B.Tech/AMIE or equivalent degree in Computer Science / Information Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering and in case of SC/ST, it should not be less than 45%.
It accepts students through score of GATE and MHTCET, you have to fill their application form which is free of cost form their website like the one available at the download appliaction in their official website of college .

Fees for M tech at VESIT depends upon category tution fees more expensive in the college in the academic year 2023-2024 Tution fees for general quota is about 109131 For obc 54566 rs/- For SBC students tution fees are Nil and also for ST/Sc the tution fees are Nil. A Total amount of 129689Rs/- will be charged to complete first year for General quota students including exam fees, development fees, sports fees, enrolment fees . For OBC category it is 129689/-inculding all and same for SBC category students For TFWPS category The total fees is 20558 Rs/- including all fees

Admission to the two-year MBA course at VIIT Pune is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed Graduation from a reputed university/institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
