NIT Srinagar is ranked #79 in the NIRF 2024 rankings under the Engineering category. It is the second best among the NIRF-ranked colleges in Jammu and Kashmir. The NIRF ranking of the institute over the years present a fluctuating trend.

BE/BTech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. Candidates must register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling held annually for BE/BTech admission. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50).

If you belong to general category then you must score 340 or above out of 400 marks and rank must be below 1000. If you are from reserved category then you must score 280-300 and rank must be below 2000. You need to score above cut off marks to be able to get a seat in NIT.
And a JEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a JEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam. Candidates must also be in the top 15,000 to 20,000 ranks to be accepted into the best NITs and IITs.

Yes, TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) is conducted specifically in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is an admission process for undergraduate engineering courses offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu.
And students from other states can also apply for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). While the majority of seats are reserved for Tamil Nadu residents, a certain percentage of seats are also allotted for students from other states on the basis of merit. So, students from other states are eligible to apply for TNEA and compete for these seats.

Yes, after completing a 3 years Diploma in any stream, one is eligible to take the AME CET entrance exam. There are some universities which invite Diploma students in 2nd year for aerospace engineering.
Aerospace Engineers are generally appointed as Consultants, Thermal Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Aerospace Technologist, Aircraft Production Manager, Assistant Technical Officers, Aerospace Design Checker, and Graduate Engineer Trainees.

The Delhi Technological University holds entrance test for admission to the M.Tech course in Biotechnology. The eligibility to appear for the entrance test consists of:
- Candidate must be GATE qualified.
- Candidate must have scored 60% (General),50% (SC/ST), 55% (OBC) or equivalent CGPA in the previous university or college or institute.
Therefore, a candidate must provide his GATE score card before applying to the DTU admission test. The university does not provide any other way for providing admission to any applicant, rather than on the basis of their GATE score.
