It is basically involved in skill development activity meaning it provides many courses of small duration to students who then can either seek employment or they can work themselves as entrepreneurs. In addition to this these institutes also offer some courses at graduation and post graduation levels also. These courses are invariably affiliated to the local government university where these institutes are located. In such cases the University grants a degree or postgraduate certificate. Having spread across India and also being involved in providing computer and information technology related training to the students, all institutes together have an online placement cell.
