The Faculty of Engineering at Jain deemed to be University offers many B.Tech and M.Tech courses in different specialisation . The ways to take admission into these courses are:

1. Qualify entrance exams JET (Jain University Entrance Test) or othe exams like JET, MBA, CMAT, NMAT, XAT with good score for B-Tech

2. For M.Tech - JET, GATE and AMIE.

3. Admission by considering high scores of other higher level exams are also valid in some extraordinary cases.

4. Direct admission via management quota

 . The ways to take admission into these courses are

At the time of NEE counselling, candidates must have these documents with them:

• Call letter for counselling of NERIST NEE
• NEE Admit Card
• Class 10th and 12th school certificate
• Transfer and character certificate for the school last studied
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Affidavit on stamp paper with prescribed format duly signed by the applicant in the presence of notary public
• Medical fitness certificate
• Certificate from the school principal mentioning no charges of ragging on the applicant in school/ college last studied.
• Two affidavits
• Proof of reserved category
• Six recent passport-sized photographs with the applicant's name written on the backside
• Physical disability certificate (if any)
• Permanent residential certificate
• Another Non-PRC certificate, in the case of an applicant, is under the state quota of eight northeastern states for being Non-PRC holder
• Government Employee Certificate

The NERIST counselling process is as follows:

Issuance of counselling letter: To begin with NERIST will issue a counselling letter to those candidates who have their names on the merit list.

Appear in counselling: Then, candidates who have received the counselling letter of NEE have to appear in the counselling. During the counselling process, candidates’ documents and certificates are verified.

Document verifiaction and course selection: It is mandatory to bring documents and certificates which are required by the University. Candidates must carefully select the preferences of courses as they will not be able to change the later stage of counselling. If the applicant does not report on time for counselling then the seat will be given to another candidate.
