Based on the entrance tests, the National Institute of Engineering (NIE) Mysore offers distinct cutoff ranks for M.Tech admissions. In 2023, the following are the cutoff ranks for the general category:
- The overall cutoff rank for the general category in Karnataka PGCET is between 495 and 3002.
- COMEDK UGET: For the general category, the total cutoff rank is between 7292 and 20168.
- KCET: The general category's overall cutoff rank is between 4700 and 20720.

KJ Somaiya School of Engineering accepts entrance exams scores which are conducted by the various students who qualifies the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who have qualified the minimum eligibility criteria are only eligible to apply for KJ Somaiya School of Engineering.
Candidates who get shortlisted after these exam, get their names under the merit lists of the university. The list of M.Tech entrance exams is given below:

No, admissions to the MTech programme at KJSSE are based on the entrance exam score of candidates. Hence, direct admissions are not offered by this college. The eligibility criteria for the MTech course at K J Somaiya School of Engineering is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
Also, the entrance exams accepted by the college include GATE, PERA CET, MHT CET, CUET-PG, etc. The duration of the course is for two years. Additionally, the K J Somaiya School of Engineering MTech fees is around INR 1 lakh.

Also facilities are much better in abes engineering College than any of another college.
So, obviously choose ABESEC.

Yes, you can apply for M.Tech at SGT University Gurgaon without a GATE score. However, the university gives preference to candidates who have a valid GATE score. If you do not have a GATE score, you will need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. Admission to various courses in the University will be made strictly on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination or as per the eligibility criteria prescribed under regulatory/statutory provisions.
