Yes, you can be qualified for admission to the B.Tech. in computer Science with a 55% grade point average. However, since the majority of admissions are based on entrance exam results1, you will need to take the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to be considered for admission. Don't worry; if you do well on the JEE, you might be able to enrol in a computer Science programme, however it also depends on the college you wish to attend.

No, you cannot get into B.Tech IIT Kanpur without boards exam. you have to score minimum 75% in Boards exam.
