Make-up Exam: The college may provide an opportunity for the student to take a make-up exam at a later date. This allows the student to make up for the failed internal exam and still receive a grade for that assessment.
Weightage Penalty: In some cases, failing an internal exam may result in a penalty in terms of reduced weightage for that particular assessment component. If you are serious about getting admission to a Polytechnic college for CSE, I recommend that you apply to a variety of colleges. This will give you a better chance of getting admission.
