Make-up Exam: The college may provide an opportunity for the student to take a make-up exam at a later date. This allows the student to make up for the failed internal exam and still receive a grade for that assessment.
Weightage Penalty: In some cases, failing an internal exam may result in a penalty in terms of reduced weightage for that particular assessment component. For example, if the internal exam carries 20% weightage, failing it may result in a penalty where it is considered as 15% during a makeup exam, resulting in a 5% weightage loss.

Yes, it is good Institute for B.Tech in CSE.
RIET is affiliated to J.C.Bose University of Science and Technology YMCA Faridabad and approved by AICTE.
The highest salary stood at INR 9.5 LPA for the B.Tech ME, INR 6 LPA for B.Tech CSE & B.Tech ECE each.
It is a good college. I am fully satisfied with this course and this college. Only 5-6% of students got better placement in this course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA.

If you are serious about getting admission to a Polytechnic college for CSE, I recommend that you apply to a variety of colleges. This will give you a better chance of getting admission. You should also start preparing for the state-level Polytechnic entrance exam as soon as possible. The state-level Polytechnic entrance exam is a separate entrance exam that is conducted by each state for admission to Polytechnic colleges in that state.
