BTech CSE has the most competitive cut-off, the 2021 cut off in round six for CSE stood at 2897. Moreover, the placement statistics of CSE graduates is also better among all the specialisations. During 2022 placements, the median and average package offered to BTech CSE students  was INR 28.7 LPA and INR 28 LPA, respectively.

Candidates shall bring originals and copies of all the necessary academic certificates, JEE  scorecards, address proof, ID Proof , passport-size photographs, etc.

Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Jodhpur is based on performance in the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), followed by JEE Advanced. Based on JEE Advanced score, candidates need to take part in JoSAA counselling. Candidates can apply on the JEE official website (nta.ac.in). Candidates who secure a rank more than or equal to the IITJ BTech cutoff become eligible for admission.

During MET slot booking, candidates have to check their profile information and confirm it. All basic details submitted during application will be available in profile. If any mistakes are found, candidates should inform authorities.

For the academic year 2021-2022, NIT Sikkim achieved an overall placement rate of 80.84%, and all its students secured internships in renowned organizations. Capgemini, Bosch, Siemens, TCS, Aarti Industries Limited, among others, were the top recruiters at NIT Sikkim in 2022. The total tuition fee for the M.Tech programme is INR 1.4 Lacs and the average salary received after the completion of the course is INR  7.3 lakh, considering the total tuition fee and the salary secured this seems to be a good return on investment.

For admission in a BTech course at Jadavpur University, candidates need to complete WBJEE application procedure. The fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. In the below-mentioned table, category-wise application fee is mentioned:

NIT Sikkim MTech total tuition fees is INR 1.4 lakh. The total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than INR 1 lakh per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee.

Other economically backward students, whose family income falls between INR 1 lakh to INR 5 lakh per annum, are granted a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.

Candidates will be able to choose their preferred MET exam cities while filling the application form. The cities for the entrance examination have to be selected in the order of preference and submitted. During the slot booking, the candidates will be able to select their choice of exam centres from the city that they have preferred. The slots available in the centre have to be chosen and submitted before the final date. The details regarding the allotted MET exam centre, date and time will be available on the admit card.

NIT Sikkim offers M.Tech programmes with a duration for two years. M.Tech programme at NIT Sikkim is offered in five specialisations namely:

• Computer Science & Engineering,
• Control, Power & Electric Drives Electronics,
• Communication Engineering,
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and
• VLSI & Embedded Systems.

The Admission eligibility criteria for the M.Tech programme includes Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 60% aggregate. GATE and CCMT counselling is prefer for the selection criteria.
