Since the mock tests are a replica of the examination, the students will benefit by attempting mock tests. Solving mock tests will also allow the students to know their preparation progress and identify their commonly made mistakes. This will allow them to rectify their mistakes beforehand so that it is not repeated during the examination. Mock tests are also beneficial in boosting time management skills.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering was 2119 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology.
