For BITSAT, the candidates will also have to prepare English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning sections. The section is designed to assess their general proficiency in the use of the English language as a means of self-expression in real-life situations and their reasoning abilities in verbal and nonverbal areas. In English the topics to be studied are Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension and Composition. For Logical Reasoning, the candidates will have to prepare Verbal Reasoning and Nonverbal Reasoning concepts.

Yes, the candidates may notice that the topics of BITSAT will be similar to that of the 12th standard qualifying board exams. The syllabus will also consist of the basic as well as extensive concepts of the subjects or sections from which the questions will appear. Candidates are advised to check the BITSAT syllabus available online carefully. While preparing for the examination, the candidates are also advised to refer to their board examination books and materials.
