CT university is best option for B.Tech CSE. I am in my third year of Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering here. CT University provides skill oriented programs to catchup with new age technology. CT University have good scope with large cap of jobs and I too interested in web development, so I have taken that course Full Stack web Development with B.Tech CSE. There are other specialisation in B.Tech CSE also. Faculty members are well educated and highly qualified.

MHT CET is not compulsory, you can get admission through the JEE Mains. But you have to score good in JEE Mains to get this college.

Not a good idea. If you are getting NITs/IITs/IIITs then leaving VIT can be a wise idea. VIT is most reputed NAAC A+ accredited University having 9 NIRF ranking. The placements opportunities in VIT are the best. So, rethink before taking any decision.

GATE exam qualification is needed for most of the M.Tech specialisations however, some have branches accept OJEE scores. Most specialisations cutoff depend on the GATE score.
