The cut off for B.Tech courses in TNAU is calculated by adding the marks of Maths Physics and Chemistry (100 for Maths 50 each for Physics and Chemistry and dividing the sum by 2. For example, if you scored 91 in Maths 84 in Physics 89 in Chemistry and 95 in Biology your cut off would be (91/2) + (84/2) + (89/2) + (95/2) = 179.5. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

The validity of the Assam CEE 2023 result is one year. If the candidates apply for admission after a year of qualifying the entrance examination, then they will be considered ineligible and disqualified from the process. Therefore, the candidates are required to apply for the counselling and admission process on the same year that they qualified the entrance examination. If the candidates are not able to attend the counselling process, then they will have to apply and re-attempt Assam CEE next year for a new score and rank.

The tie-breaking guidelines have been created for cases when there are two or more candidates who have secured the same score in Assam CEE 2023. Then, the PCM aggregate of 12th standard will be considered for shortlisting the candidates. If a tie still persists, then, the overall aggregate in Physics Chemistry Mathematics and English will be used. If the tie still exists, then the committee will select the candidates on different terms. Candidates are advised to be informed about the tie-breaking guidelines to understand how ranks are allotted if more than one person secure the same rank.
