Candidates belonging to the General category should secure 50 percentile. Those belonging to the PwD General category has to secure 45 percentile. The NEET cutoff percentile for the reserved category candidates is 40. The exact qualifying marks or cutoff scores will be announced by NTA along with the scorecards. This year, General category candidates had to score minimum 137 marks to qualify for the exam.

There are NO Negative marks for wrong answers. TS EAMCET exam is of 3 hrs duration and the question paper consists of total 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark. The syllabus in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the model questions are available in TS EAMCET Website.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies will release the UPESEAT 2024 syllabus on the official website. Applicants who will appear in the exam are advised to refer to the UPES syllabus for their preparations. The syllabus for UPESEAT 2024 comprises topics in Physics Chemistry Mathematics and English Comprehension. Applicants opting for a centre-based exam have to also attempt the Current Affairs section.
