CSE is best in the NITs given below:
For CSE (decreasing order of ranking)
NIT TRICHY less than 255
NIT WARANGAL less than 240
NIT SURATKAL less than 230
NIT ALLAHABAD (MNNIT) less than 230
NIT ROURKELA less than 220
But wait I have something more for you
If you do not get CSE go for IT because both branches are 90% same.

According to your rank, you have high chances of getting ECE branch in some good Nits but for CSE it seems difficult. You can still go for CSAB special councelling and try your luck there. You might get CSE in some lower Nits,But you will get good Gftis in CSE branch too.
Also above prediction is based on previous year data and cut off changes every year.

175 isn't a good score if you want CSE in top colleges. You surely need 200+ and much precisely 220 because there is no board percentage. So this time we can't say what's gonna happen. Everything will be changed. By this year's JEE Main we can predict next year results. So if you really wish to be in a top college and CSE then Bro 220 is needed. I can simply give one tip to you. Know how to pick your answers. AJEE Main paper will be moderate. Expect 11 easy questions 12 to 14 moderate and 5 hard. Leave 5 hard but solve easy and moderate surely. Make sure that you solve 20 from each subject. And Bro let me say you time is important. Che

You will get CSE in NIT Surat, NIT Jaipur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Nagpur, NIT Bhopal in 5 or 6 round of Jossa and CSE in these colleges is too good.

Yes, you can.
If you have appeared for the JEE mains 2018, then you can seek admission in B.Tech CSE,as well as in ECE and Food science in the Amritsar campus.
Previous year data
General CSE less than 1,25,000
For category can vary up to less than 5,00,000
General ECE less than 1,90,000
For category less than 6,00,000
The ranks I mentioned above can be achieved without clearing the JEE mains cut off.
I am in ECE having marks 72 and rank of 1,52,000
But my personal suggest will be to go for Cse . Thats better that you will realise after a lonflg period.

1. Mining is best branch in Mbm in terms of faculty and placement. It has 100% placement. But girls are not allowed in this branch.
2. Electrical : This is the second best dept of college. Classes are regularly held but yes placement is not that good. Students generally prepare for GATE.
3. Mechanical :This dept has the oldest and experienced faculty members who are willing to share their knowledge. They take classes regularly. Labs are held regularly.
4 Computer Science and IT : The department has some very good teachers and placement is also good.

MEC cut-off marks vary every year and they depend on the qualifying cut-off marks for JEE Mains. Also, each branch has different cut-offs. Generally, CSE has the highest cutoff followed by the other branches.
You will be on the safe side if you score a little above 130 marks in JEE Mains, i.e, you will get admission into MEC.
Also, first round of counseling gets the preference. So if you participate in the second round, even if you have more than the required cutoff, your chances of getting the desired branch are less.
