Hi shruti
No, one cannot apply for an M.Tech at the Manipal Institute of Technology using the Karnataka PGCET scores. To apply for MIT, you need to appear in either the GATE or the Manipal Entrance Exam (MET). Other colleges that accept the Karnataka PGCET include the RV College of Engineering, the Bangalore Institute of Technology, and the National Institute of Engineering.

2- ITI courses have a duration of 2 years, whereas Polytechnic courses have a duration of 3 years.
3- Benefits of ITI courses: easy employment, short course duration, early job opportunities, cheaper than other courses, and government-approved course, could be perused even after the 8th, 10th, or 12th. Benefits of Polytechnic courses: They offer more training, practice, and pract

Selecting a college depends on a lot of factors. Placements
Faculty
Infrastructure
College life
Past achievements
Ranking and Reputation etc. Based on these IIIT Gwalior is definitely a better option than the new IIITs and it is considered one of the top IIITs in India. You should consider the upgrades and downgrades resulting from the switch, but I assure you IIIT Gwalior will not disappoint you.
