Amity University Mumbai is a good enough place to pursue Engineering studies. Syllabus is, no doubt, way better than University of Mumbai. Most of the students get their preferred stream without much issues. Faculty members are quite supporting. The University has successfully set up a Corporate Resource Centre within its campus, for placements, job and internship opportunities. At Amity University Mumbai, the crowd is good and all are interested in studies as they get admissions to their preferred streams. To sum up, in my opinion, Amity University Mumbai is better than many other colleges, and is much similar to other private univers

I'm not a hater of the college, I've had good experiences there.
First, there is no proper infrastructure for labs and sports. I wanted both.
Second, they make you pass lab exams with a S or an A with nil efforts. You learn nothing here.
Third, they follow a mark-oriented approach rather than going by the learning perspective.
Last, there are crazy rules here which will change students' way of thinking.
If you are an open minded or a practical person, do not go for it. The college wouldn't make sense.

The cut off marks vary for different branches.
Last years (2015) cut-off marks were 129 for CSE, 119 for ME, 111 for EEE and 105 for CE.
It is not expected to change a lot this year.
All the best.

If you have listed CSE in JSS with upper rank than IT in JSS at the time of choice filling then go for the all rounds of counseling you will get CSE in it. Otherwise you can take admission in IT in JSS and switch your branch after 1st year (there is some criteria of colleges for that). .

Actually, B.Tech is a newly started program at Lucknow University, 2017 to 2018 is the first session. And Students are quite happy with their professors and the assignments given to them. So overall, I can say that it is good to get admission here.

I will list down some top colleges as per popular opinion:
College of Engineering, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Army Institute of Technology, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, MIT World Peace University, Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, etc. (Not listed as per priority, all of them are great). But, if geographical location is not a concern then I had definitely suggest Chandigarh University as one of the best Computer Engineering college. It has great faculty and academic record, astonishing placements and a diverse peer group which helps enhance individual personality. I had recommend to checkout more a

It's not only all about the marks scored in JEE Mains but also depends upon the way you tackle your interview. The interview is quite tricky, all you need is to answer them in a very smart and confident way.
They will ask you questions from all fields, you should be Versatile and aware of your surroundings. Keep your technical part strong and be sound enough to reply them gently .
Your presence of mind could also be tested based on questions they ask and lastly the question they ask to almost everyone is . Why DEI?. Prepare for it
Rest up to 90 in JEE mains will be enough with a good grades in 10th and 12th.
All the very best.

Both Colleges are great in terms of placements particularly in computer Science background geethanjali has my upvote. Wherever you join it's purely depends upon you're skill set and knowledge you acquired is important irrespective of the college's. One of my friend from tier 4 type college which was one of the black listed colleges in Hyderabad got placed with a very attractive package compared to geethanjali or top college's. Note : Be prepared and ready with you're quant, logical baisc coding and aptitude from 2nd year of you're engineering or any background if you want to crack any competitive exams it will give best results at the
