Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, So if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed. First of all CSAB counselling is based on AIR rather than category rank. You can visit the official CSAB website to check for the latest cutoff for any particular institute of year 2022. The rank you SEE under the SC category section is the AIR of a particular student who has been alloted that seat and that student belong to SC category but allocation is based on AIR only. Please upvote if it helps. Thanks.

You have to get a rank around 1000 or below, this year the number of seats were increased to 60 but last year it was only 30, so this year it would be easy to get a seat. But, what i recommend is not to join here, I am studying here in 3rd year, believe me it would be a life regret if you want to join here with a thought of good academics in your mind, you will get everthing - freedom, libraries etc but professors won't teach you well, many professors won't even attend classes. If u have any chances to join SVU or JNTU kakinada, join in AU unless you have a chance to get into SVU or JNTU Kakinada. Don't take my words lightly brother, I

Both Colleges are great in terms of placements particularly in computer Science background geethanjali has my upvote. Wherever you join it's purely depends upon you're skill set and knowledge you acquired is important irrespective of the college's. One of my friend from tier 4 type college which was one of the black listed colleges in Hyderabad got placed with a very attractive package compared to geethanjali or top college's.
