There are just about 50000sears in total in different NIT's. If you are OBC, then you will be competing for seats within the quota for OBCs. At 27%, this means there are only about 13500 seats reserved for OBC students. Your ranking is 38000. So you can SEE for yourself where you stand. Of course, due to some freak permutations and combinations, you may still get a seat.
