Placements:
DTU provides the engineering Physics course, and candidates can go for both sectors in technology and research. About 90 percent to 95 percent of the candidates got placements. The highest package offered in 2020 was INR 1.07 Crore per annum, the lowest package is INR 2.5 LPA, and the average package is INR 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Java, Wipro, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Airtel, Flipkart, and many big companies. The Central University of Haryana is better known for its Science and arts courses. If you are getting admission to a top engineering college for B.Tech, you can prefer that college over CUH. However, the CUH is way better than many tier-2 private engineering colleges. The reason is that the CUH is a central university, so it has more acceptability than less-known private engineering colleges. Also, the fee is just Rs. 1.44 Lacs for the B.Tech course, which is offered in four specializations. This fee is much lower than that of private colleges. You can choose between NIT Silchar and NIT Agartala for B.Tech Civil Engineering (CE), both of which are top NITs. Here are some criteria you can use to choose where to apply for admission:
1. NIRF Ranking: At the 38th spot in the NIRF rankings, NIT Silchar is placed ahead of NIT Agartala. NIT Agartala is ranked 80th on the same list.
2. Possibility of admission: Based on the JEE Mains closing rank, admission to NIT Agartala is comparable easier than that to NIT Silchar. In contrast to NIT S, where the final rank for the CE branch was 37548, NIT A had a closing rank of 43737.

4. Placement: The NIT S has better placement packages offered to B.Tech CSE graduates than the NIT A. The average salary offered to the CSE branch is around Rs. 12 LPA at NIT S, whereas it is around Rs. 6.5 LPA at NIT A. The fee is similar at both NITs, at Rs. 5 Lacs for a B.Tech in CSE, and the faculty are also good in both colleges. Hence, you can prefer NIT S over NIT A during JEE counseling.
