The candidate should not be older than 28 years of age. They must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation, or an equivalent recognised by the AICTE or UGC with a minimum mark of 55% aggregate.

The candidate must have studied Physics Chemistry Mathematics, and English (core or elective) as a subject with a 60% aggregate at 10+2 level from any recognised board. The mandatory subjects for this course are English Chemistry Mathematics, and Physics. As a result, if you only have PCB and no math as an additional subject, you will be unable to apply to biotech engineering at this college. Also, admission to undergraduate programs is done through Joint Admission Counseling (JAC). However, you may apply to some other colleges with a PCB.
