Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. B Tech Full-Form Bachelor of Technology is a 4-year undergraduate skill-oriented engineering course that focuses more on delivering practical training. The course is available in different specializations such as B Tech Computer Science, B Tech Biotechnology, B Tech IT, B Tech mechanical engineering, etc. The B Tech Admission process is based on national-level Entrance Examinations such as JEE Main and JEE Advance and other state exams like BITSAT SRMJEEE WBJEE etc. The basic B Tech Eligibility is 60% in class 12 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects. JEE Main Phase 1 Result has been released. B Tech Lateral entry is possible for students who have completed a Diploma in Engineering. They will be able to take admission directly to the second year of the B Tech Course. There are more than 4100 B Tech Colleges in India. B Tech course fees range between INR 2,00,000 to INR 4,50,000 in IITs and INR 2,50,000 to INR 5,00,000 in private engineering colleges.

A degree in IT engineering gives you knowledge of managing the company IT infrastructure and assets. Information Technology degree programs don't give you a detailed understanding of programming but they help you learn basic programming. Going forward, you can choose to specialise in areas such as database management, networking, or security. IT and CS degrees can lead to similar jobs but the differences between the two are quite pronounced.
