Colleges in Bangalore take admission in three different ways
1. Through KCET Exam Score- This exam is for students of Karnataka only.
2. Through COMEDK Exam Score- This exam is for students all over India
3. Through Management quota- you just need to appear for either of the two exams and should have 10-20 Lacs for donation. They will give you admission.

Your class 10th and class 12th marks at the time of placement only, they make you eligible for a particular company as per the marks requirement by company in order to get eligible for interview. Getting Job or placed only depends on your skills that you will gain during your B.Tech studies.
