CSE is main hot cake branch in SASTRA. If you want to get CSE seat minimum requirements are stream 1: 975 above with JEE rank of 35,000 stream 2: 985 above ipe marks. So based on the criteria of previous counseling you have very less chances of getting CSE. If you have applied for sastra admission if your rank is below 700 you will get CSE. And you have 2 other choices to get into CSE in sastra. Case 1: you can join sastra with any branch, for all the other branch students also having same subject in first year. If your CGPA is above 9 you will get into CSE. Case 2: If you are branch specific you can join kumbakonam campus of sastra CS

Yes. You will be getting your seat in aerospace with your score mentioned. But you have to wait up to 2nd / 3rd round of counseling. So that you will get your chance of studying in aerospace SASTRA. All the best.

ECE is the 3rd major seat filling branch in sastra after CSE and IT. If you applied for sastra. You have a hope (30% chances) of getting ECE seat under stream 2 (considers only IPE marks). Wait until the 3rd round of counseling so that you will get that chance. All the best.

Hello aspirant! First of all its not necessary that you need a separate engineering department to study artificial intelligence and machine learning. These courses come under CSE and can be chosen as electives also in IT or ECE. Now coming to the colleges in Tamil Nadu:
1. IIT MADRAS
2. NIT TRICHY
3. IIIT KANCHEEPURAM
4. Anna University If you want it as a specialisation then go for VIT Vellore B.Tech in CSE with specialisation in AI AND ML. If not any of these then SRM main campus is also a good choice.

The 12th marks criteria of 75% has been reintroduced during this year in admission in NIT, IIITs, IITs and GFTIs. So 75% marks in 12th are mandatory.
