Chandigarh University does not bind the students with daily uniforms, it gives the students the privilege to feel like university students. The university has kept Wednesday as the uniform day, where students have to come properly dressed in professional attire. And as a student of this university, I like that professional look. Apart from Wednesday, students have no compulsion to wear the uniform.
Chandigarh University has a mandatory dress code only on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, B.E. students (both girls & boys) have to wear a white shirt with a striped red color tie (available on university premises) and grey shade color pants. Though the formal shoe is listed as mandatory with the dress code, no one focus or cares much about shoes.
In winter, the dark blue(navy) color coat has to be worn in addition to having the logo of Chandigarh University on the left side pocket of it.

Chandigarh University, which has been awarded an A+ by NAAC and is supervised by different government authorities such as NIRF, has been competing to give increased learning possibilities in CSE through an integrated curriculum.
